Featuring Michael League and Robert “Sput” Searight from Snarky Puppy

Following the release of his critically acclaimed album ‘Flint’, Bill Laurance toured the UK in October with a trio featuring members of the Grammy Award winning “Snarky Puppy”. A number one album on the jazz and itunes charts, ‘Flint’ combines elements of jazz and classical with the trio of Laurance on piano and keys, Michael League on bass and Robert “Sput” Spearight on drums supplemented strings and lush orchestration. The energy, drive, soul and funk that has underpins the astonishing body of work Snarky Puppy has created in recent years is also present throughout the album and will come to the fore in the live shows with the addition of strings players to the core trio Laurance, League and Spearight.

As original members of the award winning phenomanan that is Snarky Puppy members of the Bill Laurance Project maintain a work ethic and more tour schedule that any other band in the jazz idiom performing over 200 shows a year.
